Our Mission to Drive Sustainable Change in Somalia
SDN has supplied schools and classroom equipment, teaching materials, and instructional support to schools who are unable to afford operational expenditures. We collaborated with young women leaders and partners to identify five areas for action for governments and global institutions to realise the right to secondary education for all girls.
Our Impact in Development
Through projects focused on community empowerment, education, and infrastructure, we have positively transformed numerous Somali communities. Our evidence-based approach ensures sustainable growth and improved livelihoods.

What We Do
The Somali Development Network (SDN) promotes sustainable development in Somalia through monitoring, evaluation, capacity building, and research. We empower communities and institutions to drive transparent, evidence-based decision-making. Partnering with governments, civil society, and international organizations, SDN delivers innovative solutions that foster accountability and sustainable growth.
